Description
The project is being developed by Renew Estate. The project is co-owned by Renew Estate and United Green Energy, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
Rodds Bay Solar PV Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 2,758 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 625GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 88,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $244m.
The solar power project consists of 900,000 modules.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2021.
