The power generated from the project is sold to San Diego Gas & Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
Contractors Involved
M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 126 units of AW-77/1500 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2012, for a period of 17 years.
