Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Al Jomaih Energy and Water and Marubeni. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 50.1% and 49.9% respectively.

Rabigh Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 894,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 45,300 households. The project is expected to offset 779,900t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $219.6m.

The power generated from the project will be sold to Saudi Power Procurement under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

China Energy Construction Guangdong Thermal Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering is expected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

The project will utilise single axis tracker that are likely to be supplied by PVHardware.

Al Jomaih Energy and Water and Marubeni are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
