The project was developed by EDP Renewables North America. The project is currently owned by EDP Renewables North America with a stake of 20%, Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, Desjardins Group Pension Plan and Regime de rentes du Mouvement Desjardins.

The project generates 300,468MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 37,000 households, offsetting 211,162t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $167m.

The turbines installed on the project are using Tubular Steel towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Dairyland Power Cooperative under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 98MW.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 49 units of V110-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

EDP Renewables North America is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
