Solar is leading technology for power plant tenders in June 2019

Among the technologies, Solar accounted for 103 tenders with a 70.5% share, followed by Hydro with 14 tenders and a 9.6% share and Thermal with 11 tenders and a 7.5% share.

Power plant segment tenders in June 2019: Top companies by capacity

The top issuers of Power Plant segment tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 10,200MW from four tenders
  2. Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (Kuwait): 2,000MW from one tender
  3. NTPC (India): 1,184MW capacity from three tenders.
