Description

The project was developed by Fisterra Energy, Maetel and Zuma Energia S.A. de. The project is currently owned by China Power International Holding with a stake of 100%.

Zuma-Santa Maria Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 500 hectares.

The project generates 422GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 54,261 households, offsetting 161,881t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 550,740 modules, each with 325W nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2015 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in February 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Maetel is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 20 years.
