Description

The project was developed by BayWa r e and is currently owned by SINO-CEEF Capital Management with a stake of 100%.

Witnica Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 80 hectares.

The project generates 68,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 22,500 households, offsetting 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to HeidelbergCement Technology Center under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.

Contractors involved

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 160,000 modules each with 405W of nameplate capacity.

Huawei Technologies supplied 500 inverters to the project site.

BayWa r e is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
