Description

The project is being developed by Windkoepel Groen.

The project is expected to generate 350,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 115,000 households. The project is expected to offset 350,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Vattenfall under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 78MW.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 15 units of 6.0-164 turbines, each with 6MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
