Description

The project was developed by Consolidated Edison Development and Samsung C&T America. The project is currently owned by RWE Clean Energy with a stake of 100%.

White River 2 Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 165 acres.

The project generates 51,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 16,000 households.

Development status

The project got commissioned in October 2014.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific Gas and Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 20MWh.

Contractors involved

Quanta Power Generation and Ryan were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Yingli Green Energy Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 88,806 modules each with 300W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from GE Renewable Energy for the project.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.
