Description
The project is being developed by Valalta and is currently owned by Wallenborn Bora with a stake of 100%.
Vratarusa (Vratarusa II) consists of 8 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.
The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the Vratarusa (Vratarusa I), site are expected to be 80m high.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2010.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Vratarusa (Vratarusa I) will be sold to Hrvatski Operator Trzista Energije under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.137kWh from 2011.
Contractors involved
Vratarusa (Vratarusa I) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V90-3.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.
Energias Renovables y Desarrollos Alternativos is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Vratarusa (Vratarusa I). The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2011.
