Description
The project was developed by JSC Lenhydroproject, Svirstroy. Gazprom Energoholding and Fortum Power and Heat are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51.79% and 29.45% respectively.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 36 million cubic meter. Volkhovskaya underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1941-1945,1993-1996. The project generated 382.5 GWh of electricity.
