Description
The project was developed by TuasOne. Hyflux and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The project generates 2,880MWh of electricity.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Hydrochem (S) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

TuasOne is the O&M contractor for the project for a period of 25 years.
