Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by NNEGC Energoatom.

Tashlyk PSP is a pumped storage project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 88.5m and 74.2m respectively.

The project construction is expected to commence from 1981. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2006.

Contractors involved

Power Machines will be the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 6 units of Francis turbines, each with 179.16MW nameplate capacity.

NPO Elsib is expected to supply 2 electric generators for the Tashlyk PSP (Tashlyk I Active).
