Description
The project is being developed by Corio Generation and Fuinneamh Sceirde Teoranta. The project is currently owned by Green Investment Group with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 350,000 households, to offset 550,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2030.
