Description
The project was developed by Invenergy Services. Deriva Energy and Manulife Financial are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
Shoreham Solar Commons PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 150 acres.
The project generates 47,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,500 households, offsetting 29,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project consists of 125,944 modules.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2018.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Long Island Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 24.9MW.
Contractors involved
TerraSmart was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
The mounting systems have been supplied by TerraSmart for the project.
