Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Shinmonji Biomass Power Plant 1.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Palm kernel shells which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 50MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.

DP CleanTech Group is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site is expected to have a capacity of 220TPH.
