Description
The project was developed by Alberta Wind Energy, EDP Renewables Canada and Eolectric. Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and EDP Renewables Canada are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
The project generates 1,182,600MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 164,000 households, offsetting 700,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Borea Construction and Vestas Wind Systems were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Sharp Hills Wind Project (Sharp Hills_Phase I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V150 turbines. The phase consists of turbines with 4.3MW nameplate capacity.
