Description

The project was developed by Galata Wind Enerji and is currently owned by Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding.

The project generates 320,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 170,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 35 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the Sah WEPP (Sahres Phase I). The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2011, for a period of 10 years.
