Description

The project is being developed by Rasuwagadhi Hydropower. Chilime Hydropower and Nepal Electricity Authority are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33% and 18% respectively.

Rasuwagadhi is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project will be 167.9m. The project is expected to generate 613.875 GWh of electricity.

China International Water & Electric and Power Construction Corporation of China are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the hydro power project.

Voith Hydro Holding will be the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company is expected to provide 3 units of francis turbines, each with 37MW nameplate capacity.

Voith Hydro Holding is expected to supply 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is likely to be 43.75 MVA.
