Description
The project was developed by H&WB Asia Pacific (Pte Ltd) and PH Renewables. Meralco PowerGen and Mitsui are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.
Pinugay Solar Power Project is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 135 acres.
The project generates 165,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 99,100t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved
China Energy Engineering, Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute and Solenergy Systems were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
JA Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 211,020 modules each with 545W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from Sungrow Power Supply for the project.
