Description

The project was developed by Halpro Engineering Sdn. The project is co-owned by Greencells and Majulia Sdn, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Pekan Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 73,836MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 16,560 households, offsetting 51,242t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2021 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years from 2019. The contracted capacity is 30MW.

Contractors involved

JA Solar Holdings was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.

The inverters were procured from Huawei Technologies for the project.

Halpro Engineering Sdn is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
