Description
The project was developed by Enel Green Power RSA and RES Southern Africa. Khana Energy, Enel, Qatar Investment Authority and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 27.5%, 27.5% and 10% respectively.
The project generates 568GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 130,000 households, offsetting 590,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project has 91.50m high towers.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.048kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2021. The contracted capacity is 147.6MW.
