Description

The project is being developed by Norfolk Vanguard and is currently owned by RWE Renewables with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 7,800,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 1,950,000 households. The project is expected to offset 3,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 592.069km² and will be interconnected by 66kV inter-array cable.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.

Contractors involved

Vestas Offshore Wind will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 184 units of V236-15 MW turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Offshore Wind is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the project.
