Description
The project was developed by African Clean Energy Developments and Nojoli Wind Farm (RF). Enel Green Power, Pele Green Energy and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 30% and 10% respectively.
The project generates 275,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 86,000 households, offsetting 251,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project has 85m high towers.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2016.

Vestas Southern Africa was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 44 units of V100-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2016.
