Description

The project was developed by Avantus and Silver Ridge Power. The project is currently owned by Capital Dynamics with a stake of 100%.

Mount Signal 3 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 2,000 acres.

The project generates 770,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 114,000 households, offsetting 530,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 252MW.

Contractors involved

M. A. Mortenson was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 2,800,000 modules at the site.

TMEIC supplied 96 of its Solar Ware Samurai 2700 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
