Description
The project is being developed by BCPG Public, Diamond Generating Asia, Impact Energy Asia Development and Monsoon Wind Power. BCPG Public, Impact Energy Asia Development and Diamond Generating Asia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 45%, 31% and 24% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 1,700,000MWh electricity to offset 35,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project will have 110m high towers.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by February 2025.
Power purchase agreement
ASEAN Centre for Energy and Vietnam Electricity are expected to be the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors involved
Power Construction Corporation of China and Vestas Wind Systems are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Envision Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 133 units of EN-171/4.5 turbines, each with 4.51MW nameplate capacity.
Envision Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project.
