The project was developed by Noor Energy 1 PSC. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Acwa Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 25% respectively.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar PV Park Phase IV is a ground-mounted solar project.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.024kWh for a period of 35 years. The contracted capacity is 250MW.

Shanghai Electric Group was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

The inverters were procured from Shanghai Electric Fuji Electric Power Technology for the project.

The First National Operation & Maintenance is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
