Description

The project was developed by Mirfa International Power & Water. Abu Dhabi National Energy, Engie and Sojitz are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 20% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

Development status

The project got commissioned in November 2017.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Abu Dhabi Department of Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
