The project was developed by Aksamit Resource Management and EDF Renewables North America. The project is co-owned by Abu Dhabi Future Energy and EDF Renewables North America, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 115,000 households, offsetting 900,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
