RWE Generation, EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg and MVV RHE are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 32% and 28% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is hard coal. In case of shortage of hard coal the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
