Description
The project was developed by London Array. RWE Renewables, Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, Schroders Greencoat and Masdar Energy UK are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 30%, 25%, 25% and 20% respectively.
The wind turbines in the London Array Phase I are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the phase.
London Array (London Array Phase II) consists of 166 turbines.

Power purchase agreement
E.ON UK and Statkraft are the power offtakers from the project.
Contractors involved
London Array (London Array Phase I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-3.6-120 turbines. The phase consists of 175 turbines with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the London Array (London Array Phase I) for a period of 10 years.
