The project generates 740,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 300,000 households, offsetting 1,749,409t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to CFE Suministrador de Servicios Basicos under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2022. The contracted capacity is 789GWh.

Contractors involved

The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by CHINT Group, LONGi Solar Technology and Suntech Power Holdings.

Suntech Power Holdings supplied 79 inverters to the project site.
