Kumamoto Yamaga Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 45 hectares.

The project generates 38GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,000 households, offsetting 21,900t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Kandenko was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 125,280 modules each with 275W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from Huawei Technologies for the project.
