Description
The project was developed by H1 Holdings and Lekela Power. The project is currently owned by African Infrastructure Investment Managers with a stake of 20%, H1 Holdings and Lekela Power.
The project generates 513GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 154,625 households, offsetting 550,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 61 units of SWT-2.3-108 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
