IS31 Bladenboro Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 196 acres.
The project generates 57,878.189MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households, offsetting 52,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Duke Energy Progress under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years from 2017. The contracted capacity is 43.2MW.

Grupo Gransolar was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 127,560 modules each with 250W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from KACO new energy for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by PVHardware.
Grupo Gransolar and Miller Bros. Solar were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
