Description
The project is developed and owned by Inner Mongolia Wushengzhao development.
The project generates 134.6GWh electricity thereby offsetting 260,046t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Inner-Mongolia Wushenzhao Biomass Power Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Forest residue which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to North China Grid under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors involved
Qingdao Jieneng Steam Turbine Group was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 2 units of C 12-4.9/ 0.8 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
