Description
The project was developed by Electrowatt-Ekono (Thailand) and is currently owned by A.T. Bio Power.
The project generates 122.403GWh electricity thereby offsetting 54,506t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Rice husk which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2005.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to EGAT International under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 104.82GWh.

Electrowatt-Ekono (Thailand) supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 91TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 485Degree Celsius.
