Description
The project was developed by Hawa Wind Power. The project is currently owned by IDB Infrastructure Fund with a stake of 17.85%, DL Energy with a stake of 17.15% and Hawa Wind Power.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 20,000 households, offsetting 101,717t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project has 80m high towers.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Transmission & Despatch under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors involved
Power China Huadong Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 29 units of 1.7-103 MW turbines, each with 1.7MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 10 years.
