The project is being developed by GK Happo Noshiro Offshore Wind. The project is co-owned by Iberdrola Renewables Japan, Japan Renewable Energy, Others and Tohoku Electric Power, with their respective ownership stake of 25% each. The project will be spread over an area of 40km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations.
