Description

The project is being developed by Orsa Enerji Elektrik Uretim and Ortadogu Energy. The project is currently owned by Ortadogu Energy with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 120,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 37,500 households. The project is expected to offset 60,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Hamsi Wind Energy Plant (Hamsi Wind Energy Plant_Phase I) will be equipped with Enercon E-82 E2 / 2,300 kW turbines. The phase consists of 5 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

Hamsi Wind Energy Plant (Hamsi Wind Energy Plant_Phase II) will be equipped with Enercon E-103 EP2/ 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.
