Description

The project is being developed by DP Energy Ireland and EDF Renewables UK. The project is co-owned by EDF Renewables UK, Electricity Supply Board and Reventus Power, with their respective ownership stake of 33.33% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 927,400 households. The project will be spread over an area of 1,500km². The turbines will be mounted on floating type foundations.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2027. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2031.
