Description

The project is being developed by Flotation Energy and Vargronn. The project is co-owned by CNOOC Petroleum Europe, Flotation Energy and Vargronn, with their respective ownership stake of 33.33% each.

The project is expected to generate 1,500,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 300,000 households. The project is expected to offset 500,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The turbines will be mounted on floating type foundations.

The wind power project consists of 30 turbines, each with 10MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2029.
