Description

The project was developed by EDF Renewables and is currently owned by Northern States Power with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 330,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, offsetting 394,350t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Xcel Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 100.5MW.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 67 units of 1.5-77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

EDF Renewables and Outland Energy Services were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
