Description

The project was developed by CECIC Wind-power (Gansu). China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group and China Renewable Energy Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

The project generates 455,500MWh electricity thereby offsetting 430,924t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Dongfang Electric was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 134 units of FD77A-1500 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
