Description
The project was developed by Foundation Wind Energy-II. Fauji Fertilizer and TAPAL Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
The project generates 143,700MWh electricity thereby offsetting 88,720t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2014.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Transmission & Despatch under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Descon Engineering and Nordex were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 20 units of N100 (2.5 MW) turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
