Description
The project was developed by Fadhili Plant Cogeneration. Engie, Saudi Aramco Power and Saudi Electricity are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 30% and 30% respectively.
It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The fuel is procured from Fadhili Gas Plant (Khursaniyah Gas Fields).
Development status
The project got commissioned in January 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Saudi Electricity under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Doosan Enerbility was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
