Description

The project is being developed by Blue Gem Wind. Total New Energies and Simply Blue Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 93,217 households, to offset 151,767t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 43.5km². The turbines will be mounted on floating semi-submersible foundations and will be interconnected by 66kV inter-array cable.

The wind power project consists of 7 turbines.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2026.
