Description

The project was developed by Eneco Holding and Mitsubishi. The project is co-owned by Eneco Holding and Inpex, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 150,000 households, offsetting 275,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2014 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in September 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Delft University of Technology under a power purchase agreement from 2017. The contracted capacity is 18MW.

Contractors involved

Van Oord was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 43 units of V112-3.0 MW Offshore turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Deutsche Windtechnik and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
