Description
The project is being developed by Early Power. Endeavor Energy, GE Power and SAGE Petroleum are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be liquefied petroleum gas. In case of shortage of liquefied petroleum gas the plant will run on Diesel. The fuel will be procured from Sage Petroleum Limited.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Electricity Company of Ghana under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 400MW.

Metka is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Early Power Bridge Combined Cycle Power Plant (Early Power Bridge Combined Cycle Power Plant Stage I (GT)).
Early Power Bridge Combined Cycle Power Plant (Early Power Bridge Combined Cycle Power Plant Stage I (GT)) will be equipped with GE Power LM2500 gas turbines. The phase consists of 5 gas turbines.
