Description

The project is being developed by Daejeong Offshore Wind Power. Korea Southern Power, Samsung Heavy Industries and Doosan Enerbility are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 49.9%, 25.1% and 25% respectively. The project will be spread over an area of 5.46km².

The project will have 110m high towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.

Contractors involved

Doosan Enerbility will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 18 units of WinDS5500 turbines, each with 5.56MW nameplate capacity.

The rotor blades are likely to be supplied by SSP Technology.
